5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for pacifiers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, October 5, 2009

My son uses the soothie pacifier and I first purchased a holder made my soothie, but it doesn't work at all. It's heavy and poorly designed. I came across this one on the Amazon site and decided to give it a try because it's so hard to keep track of his pacifier and not let it fall to the ground when we are out and about. This one works great! I highly recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great pacifier clip., March 15, 2010

I have the green and blue striped clip, and I like it a lot. The stripes aren't painted on, but actually woven into the ribbon, so I haven't had any problems with the paint coming off. I have been using my pacifier clips for several months, and I haven't had any problem with the buckle breaking. These work the best for soothies out of anything else I have found.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential! New attachment design is great., March 20, 2009

We have several, including the older model with velcro, which did eventually come off, and now the newer ones with the pull-through cord attachment. The new design is outstanding--durable and easy--and the clip-end for baby's clothing or carseat has great grip. We run them through the dishwasher daily and they hold up great. As another commenter said, these buy us hours of sleep each week because our little guy never loses his paci at night.

Buying more for my friends who have little ones on the way.

2.0 out of 5 stars Strap is too long compared to other pacifier holders, August 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The strap is really long compared to other pacifier clips I have so it ends up wrapped around my son's neck when he rolls around unless I clip it down by his belly. He's 5 months and 80th percentile in height so it's not like he's just too short for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I will never use another pacifier clip!, June 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I went through at least 5 pacifier clips before I found Booginhead. Every plastic pacifier clip broke from repetitive use and the ones with velco stopped sticking after my son spit up and drooled all over them for a few weeks. The rubber ones popped off when my son tugged on them.

Given that we are very hard on pacifier clips, this one practically CAN'T break!

I allow my son his pacifier at night but I don't put the clip in with him so it's a little more difficult to take this one on and off of the pacifier. Especially when the baby is sleeping and I have to gently remove the clip from the pacifier without waking him but I would have this issue no matter what kind of clip I used.

It might cost a little more than other clips but when you have to buy even just 2 of the other clips becasue they keep breaking, it's worth it!

2.0 out of 5 stars It's ok but a safety hazard, October 25, 2011
This review is from: Booginhead Pacifier Holder, Blue/Green/White (Baby Product)
I tried this because it was cute and fit multiple styles of pacifiers. However it is not safe. I was clipping it on to my baby's clothes and accidentally pinched some of her skin. It has such a strong grip. The poor thing was so terrified. She had a mark there for a couple of weeks. I was so paranoid of doing it again that I switched to a different brand of pacifier and got a different clip.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the GumDrop pacifer, October 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Our baby only liked the hospital pacifer and that thing is horrible!! We got her to switch to the similar gum drop pacifer, but were spending too much time picking up off the floor and washing it off. This is the only paci-leash I've seen that will work with that model. Looks great, functions great. She can grab her own pacifer by grabbing the cord now.

We don't let her sleep with it though (use a loose pacifer)... seems like there would be some dangers with that.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good, but the clip loses strength, September 12, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This clip works well for the pacis the hospital provides. I'm concerned about the length - seems a bit long to me so I never, ever let my babe sleep with it attached to him. The other problem is that after a week, something happened in the clip and now it isn't as tight as it used to be. I've remedied the problem by folding over my little guy's onesie so there is 2 layers of fabric in the clip instead of 1 and it holds fairly well that way. I just wish the clip was stronger.
