This book may be the best, most scholarly book on the market, and it looks like it's really comprehensive, but I'll never know. Amazon clearly labels this as being in English. It's all in Hebrew, though. I actually bought this for my mother who is in her 70's and exploring all sorts religious texts and figures. She has had me get her books about Lilith, the Apocrypha, a copy of the Koran, and several other texts from different faiths. She saw Ben Sira mentioned in many different places and became interested. I searched several different places looking for something in English for her. (I'm pretty sure she's not planning on taking up Hebrew at this point in her life.) When I found this one, we were both excited. When it arrived, we were both disappointed. I've sent this feedback directly to Amazon too, but it still hasn't been changed. I hope anyone that buys it enjoys it. And if you find where I can get a translated copy of this for my mom, please let me know. I've gone round and round about how many stars to give this book. It's not really the book's or author's fault that it is mislabeled, so really dinging it with one star seemed too harsh. But I certainly couldn't justify a great rating either. Hopefully three stars will at least get people to check the review before just blindly accepting the product description.
