This review is from: The Book of Buckskinning VI (Paperback)
I have five books from this series and this one is great. I targeted the articles on finger weaving, primitve meals, and trekking. Because those are my main areas of interest. I belong to Royal Rangers, a youth group much like the Boy Scouts. And just like the Boy Scouts there is an elite program, (Boy Scouts have Order of the Arrow, we have the Frontiersman Camping Fellowship). We camp in these primitive fashions, so Book 1 and Book 6 have been very helpful to me in outfit design. period living, including proper meals and meal preparation, and some easy do it yourself leatherworking and possibles. I also have articles from Mark Baker and was happy to see that it wasn't just a copy article from his "Pilgrim's Journey" book. I gave this book 5 stars because it definitely is that caliber. The only book I have liked better than book 6 was the original, book of buckskinning 1. Enjoy the read, and don't forget to get out there.

This review is from: The Book of Buckskinning VI (Paperback)
Like the other books in this series, this one is filled with practical information for anyone wishing to recreate history from the mid 18th century through the fur trade era. I don't regret for a minute the purchase of this book.
