The Book Buddies Manual is a user-friendly resource for teachers and tutors of beginning readers. The black-line masters in the back of the text are a great resource when starting your own program. The lesson plans are easy to follow and have a wealth of activities to accompany each lesson. The authors must be SO talented to create such an amazing manual! It is a must-have for all reading teachers!

I used this book in S. Korea (in an English speaking school) for an afterschool tutoring program. It worked great! I also found it to be quite useful in small group or one-on-one tutoring for struggling readers without phonics skills.
