Somewhat dated, but a good overview,

This book is a basic overview about chocolate, its history, and the industry and trade associated with it. Unfortunately, having been written in 1976-77, much of the information is fairly dated, especially that regarding the industry surrounding chocolate and some of the dietary information. There is some good information in the book, although the author does have a penchant for lists and tables which contain only minimal data. In my opinion, these lists detract from the book.
