"Entertaining mix of rookie gumshoe high jinks, hot love, and quirky characters. It's a fun and easy read, and would be a perfect book for the beach, especially if you visit the Oregon coast. But watch out for suspicious characters, and if you find a cheesecake shop down there, order the strawberry-kiwi. It sounds delicious."

Michele Gibney started writing novels in 2009 and now finds it hard to stop. She is pretty good at dialogue composition but not so good at book cover design. Currently, Michele lives in the Bay Area and loves it. She has cats with ridiculous names and enough books to crush her in an earthquake. Smartly, she does not stand under them while the earth is moving.

This was an exceptional, non-graphic mystery, but the, erm, "romance" scenes were, in my opinion, over the top and detracted from the book. At the very least, I thought others might want to know in case they prefer their mysteries without such things.

This is a lovely (and sometimes steamy) romance but the best part is the funny observations of the wonderful characters in this small town. I laughed...a lot. A great piece of writing and I hope for more books like this.

From the scenery to the characters, this book is told colorfully and vividly. You feel like you are in this small town and a part of the investigation. Plus, the sex scenes put Charlaine Harris to shame. Highly recommend for a light vacation read!
