5.0 out of 5 stars Book of Enoch
I thought the book was quite interesting, especially in the first half of the book. There is not too much in it that would be contrary to the written bible we now have. Whether or not it was really written by Enoch, there is no way to tell but a lot of it explains a lot of things I wondered about. For instance, how we got evil spirits and such. It is okay to read this...

3.0 out of 5 stars The Book of Enoch
If you're interested in Angels and some of the legends revolving Angels, this is the book for you! However, it is difficult to read at times. The imagry used here reminds me of The Book of Revelations. For those fans of "Ancient Aliens" on The History Channel, this is a book they use to justify how there's no God... just aliens (ignoring the "who made the aliens"...

It is okay to read this as long as we compare it to scripture and do not take it as "Thus saith the Lord" where it may disagree with scripture. I didn't find too much though that was contrary to scripture but I do see how the early church fathers may have rejected it. Still there is a chance that this book is really authentic and I wouldn't dismiss it entirely. The part about how we got the giants was not new to me. I've heard that before. I would recommend reading it with an open mind that it may be truth but with caution. I liked the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enoch the other side of the coin, January 17, 2012

This review is from: The Book Of Enoch, Complete Edition: Including The Book Of The Secrets Of Enoch (Paperback)
This book is reference book. It is recommended reading for those that want to go beyond their Bible reading. It is a book that is written long ago by unknown writers. It leads me to believe that this book was written by Satan's side of the story of creation, flood, and things that relate to it. It is done in the style like our Bible but I can see why it wasn't included as part of the word of God. It gives us as Christians clues what Satan is like and what his plans are in the the future. I very good read and reference book. But, Be careful as to how this is presented because it is Satan's handy work not God the Father in Heaven. Amen. Irish Lassy lbowden5@cfl.rr.com 1-17-2012

I don't know as of yet if the book should be a part of our Bible, but it is very interesting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Book of Enoch, September 9, 2011
This review is from: The Book Of Enoch, Complete Edition: Including The Book Of The Secrets Of Enoch (Paperback)
This is great reading for those who are interested in the subject of Apocrypha or simply what has been deemed Apocrypha. This book should be read with an open mind, too bad it didn't contain the Hebrew version of 3 Enoch. I did not find that this book teaches any other doctrine that would go against the Holy Bible. It simply seems to be more of a greater detailed history of things that happened. Whether or not this was truly written by Enoch himself, that should be left up to the reader and prayer to God on the matter. Enoch is referenced in Jude 1:14-15 so it does have creed, God Bless.

This was the first time that I had heard of this book or that there was an Old Testament translation about this particular person. It was enjoyable reading and it was interesting to see somewhat of a parallel with Revelations in the New Testament.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Eschatology!, February 14, 2010

When the Lord introduced to the book of Enoch in December 2008 He said "perfect eschatology." I read it 3 times the first week I got it and I was like a kid in a candy store. The book is loaded with the stuff I've been teaching as a preacher for a long time, and it's articulated perfectly! I highly recommend for everyone who is wanting revelation of the living Truth (Jesus Christ).

Eric Pearl ([...])uses at least partially the Enoch Secrets in his procedures of healing. It is a useful reading of an apocrypha bible.
