Product Description
The Book of the Forest Path consists of translations of two texts: the Tao Te Ching (in 81 verses) and the Kuo Hsiang's commentary on the Chuang Tzu (in 80 aphorisms). Though the former text is of course among the most-translated works in history (there are dozens of English translations), Kuo Hsiang is relatively little known, he both crystallizes and elaborates the metaphysical, epistemological, and ethical percepts of Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu in a fundamental way.
