Best book out there on raising Geese.,
By Loren Hadley (Oregon, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Book of Geese: A Complete Guide to Raising the Home Flock (Paperback)
Dave Holderread's Book of Geese is one of the classics of waterfowl management. We found this book when we first started raising geese and it was essential to our success. Today we breed, exhibit and sell Champion Embden Geese. We still turn to this book on a regular basis. Excellent information on basic management, breeding, incubation, rearing goslings and keeping everyone healthy.

I turned to this book frequently in order to learn about goslings -- especially problems. This book has it all. Everything you want to know about geese is included. Excellent photographs enchance the book. Lots of information for first-time goose handlers! The author is available by phone if there is any additional information you need.
