5.0 out of 5 stars The book of Hob Stories, April 7, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Book of Hob Stories (Hardcover)
This book was recomended by our local children's Librarian. It is a wonderful book of Hob, a small fellow, who lives with a family. Only the children can see him. He is up at night, guarding the households from the perils of temper, cough, mumps and hotfood. The children leave him a present every night as a reward. However, if they ever leave clothers, Hob will leave the house forever. The language is very British and quirky. The art work is magical. My 5 year old and I both loved both the proses, the poetry of the language and the art work. If you have a highly imaginative chold, this is a lovely book.
