The Book Of Hope,
By
This review is from: The Book of Hope (NLT) (Paperback)
I have found this book to be a great tool for evangelism. I really like the translation which is much clearer for everyone except the few that have been taught, Paul only used the KJV. May God bless the use of this and all books in His name.

Great little book, especially for a gospel tract,
By
This review is from: The Book of Hope (NLT) (Paperback)
I purchased this book because I needed an extra dollar to take advantage of the free shipping, and since it's about God's word, how much better. Anyhow, I read it, and I think that this would be a nice "gospel tract" to give to a new believer, but not to be limited to just a new believer. It is very informative. I definately gained from this little book, as others will too. A Christian should be constantly growing in the word, and will continue to learn, no matter where you are in your age or faith. Get it to save on shipping and read it. Buy a few to give away. Either way, it's a very good book with a nice translation.

If you need an extra 50 cents to get to be eligible for a coupon code or something - this is a great book when you are 1 penny short. Oh yeah - you can read it if you want to.

Decent overview of Biblical Truths,
By "jimimhendrix" (Seattle) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Book of Hope (NLT) (Paperback)
There are many similar guides that usefully condense the Word of God into a more manageable format (though, I've always found this somewhat sacreligious: if you believe, you should probably read the word of God in His original, not some translation, no?). It lacks the flow of "Faith for Dummies," and the useful visuals of "A Cartoon Guide to the Bible." It's defense of Barabas is both "spirited" and unique to Biblical scholarship, and its investigation of Job's earlier misdeeds helps to clarify things for the layperson. I confess, however, that I prefer the King James version.

Best for evangilism,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Book of Hope (NLT) (Paperback)
This book is great, covers Jesus, Who God is, Forgivness andetc... I use it on street minisitry and outreach with people who arelooking for Biblical answers. It is cheap enough to give away, but full of rich answers....small semi-devotinals below each verse, eplaining the meanin.
