5.0 out of 5 stars Another gem
This book for me sits with 1 and 4 as best-in-series.
Much of the information here will take time to digest, perhaps several years but when it does I am sure it will be revered by many as a key piece of transformative literature.

1.0 out of 5 stars Conspiracy Theories Abound
This book starts out in a lovely way, with Megre' meeting his very wise 5 year old son. However, it digresses terribly in the chapters having to do with Anastasia's "History of the World" as told my Megre'. My eyebrows were raised when Anastasia/Megre informs the reader that humans have been on the planet for "billions" of years. It gets worse when Megre' relates one of...

5.0 out of 5 stars Another gem, June 9, 2007
This review is from: The Book of Kin (The Ringing Cedars Series, Book 6) (Russian Edition) (Paperback)
This book for me sits with 1 and 4 as best-in-series.
Much of the information here will take time to digest, perhaps several years but when it does I am sure it will be revered by many as a key piece of transformative literature.
The 'live' book of life is a good example. It highlights how Mankind has managed to shrink the wonder of life into 26 letter shapes, these tiny things I am now tapping in to form reliable descriptions of almost everything.
Anastasia's son points out how life has already provided a 1 to 1 scale of shapes which can be understood just like these little; a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h....things. He goes on to show it is never ending, and then the subject changes to mathematics... then to male-female union.....and so on.
A truly great read which once again stimulated my creative juices to do something instead of turning me into a passive reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone needs to read this!! Spread the word!, July 10, 2009
This review is from: The Book of Kin (The Ringing Cedars Series, Book 6) (Russian Edition) (Paperback)
This book confirms what I have been hearing bits and pieces of for years. It makes it all come together and understandable... how we got in this mess of a world we live in. And it isn't about blame. It's about how we can fix it too! I love this book. Next to "Anastasia", this is my fave of the series. Wow! if we would just do it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Anastasia Series is a Life Changing Read, June 27, 2009
Amazing book series, It has it's share challenging moments in different books. Book 1 is good but might lose some readers, who just can't grasp the message because of the story itself. As you go through the books there are times when you just got to think. "Yeah right!" this is fantasy but when you get through them the whole book series itself is amazing. Great for anyone seeking spiritual truth and growth and especially great for those who love plants and gardening. Highly highly recommended!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Life with Hope -the new myth, November 16, 2009
By
This review is from: The Book of Kin (The Ringing Cedars Series, Book 6) (Russian Edition) (Paperback)
As in the earlier works, this book offers a sense of hope grounded in the ordinary. The value of family and a 'human first' approach to life is deeply inspiring.
Works like these offer a new myth to act in teh role of 'role-models' for living life.
Some comments on contemporary political affairs are unfortunate, simply for jerking the reader back to reality after a sojourn in the new world where normal people enjoy a meaningful existence.
I recommend any book in this series, and you'll enjoy it more if you read it like a happy, innocent child.

1.0 out of 5 stars Conspiracy Theories Abound, February 17, 2011
This book starts out in a lovely way, with Megre' meeting his very wise 5 year old son. However, it digresses terribly in the chapters having to do with Anastasia's "History of the World" as told my Megre'. My eyebrows were raised when Anastasia/Megre informs the reader that humans have been on the planet for "billions" of years. It gets worse when Megre' relates one of the worst anti-semitic conspiracy theories I have ever read, stating that the world is run by a cabal of just six people, that the Jews have been brainwashed into being "minions" of these evil people to carry out their deeds, and that the Christians are not much better. Surprisingly, after going on ad nauseum about this subject and bashing these religions, Megre' takes a rather sympathetic stance regarding fundamentalist Islamic extremists, saying that they are defending their culture against the "evils" of Western society. In a very odd twist for a book that's supposed to be about spirituality and nature, Megre' dabbles in American politics and writes glowingly about (now former) President Bush.

Megre' should stick with Anastasia's premise about finding God through re-connection with nature. Writing about such strange, illogical conspiracy theories and bizarre, twisted interpretations of religion as well as his own uninformed view of American politics does damage to this message and can only alienate the reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Book Of Kin, October 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
An awakening, rather the continuing of my awakening, thoughts being confirmed on a global scale, reading book 1, Anastasia, through to Book 6, everything makes more sense, things my father taught us - take control of your own life & you own health, keep the brain free of negativity. Grasping what is really real in this techno world. Once I started book 1 it has been an amazing journey to book 7. Several people in Alberta have already planted their Russian Cedar tree. Nurseries will order them in for you. Awake people, awake to your own Paradise here on earth.

1.0 out of 5 stars If you believe that George Bush saved the world, this is the book for you, June 18, 2009

This review is from: The Book of Kin (The Ringing Cedars Series, Book 6) (Russian Edition) (Paperback)
I was extremely disappointed after reading all the magical hype about the books.Upon finding "Anastasia/Vladimir" declaring that George Bush had saved the world through his actions after 9-11 I was horrified at the ignorance of the author being put forth as "enlightened" material. I rate this as a total waste of time and money. But growing your own garden and living peacefully in community is good. The book however is boring.Nothing new.
