I bought this for my 7 year-old daughter for Christmas. She really liked the dolls, and we thought the backgrounds and the pockets for the dolls were great. The only problem is that even though the dolls are punch-outs, the clothes have to be cut out very precisely with scissors, so she needed a lot of help with that.

The Big Woods Collection of My Book of Little House Paper Dolls is a charming and endearing set of paper dolls and props. You can either be inside the log cabin or outdoors in view of it. Either way, it will provide an afternoon of delight for any little girl

I gave this to my granddaughter on her 5th birthday. Her mother had already been reading her the primary Little House books. She was a big fan of them so she was thrilled to get the paper dolls so she could act out some of the stories she had been hearing.

This probably wouldn't be much fun for a kid who had not heard the Little House stories or a kid who has no imagination. But for my granddaughter, it was the perfect gift!

I'm not sure why the description says "easy to remove" clothes, because I had to cut everything except the dolls out. Maybe they meant easy to remove from the dolls, or maybe I just got a bad lot! But I had no idea I was going to have to cut everything out in order to use it! My hand is hurting! It's a cute set but also a little flimsy (while punching out the dolls a couple of them tore on the tabs).

Very cute. My granddaughter liked them very much. sShe'd never seen paper dolls before. A welcome change from all the techno / video / game-boy "stuff" for kids. Allows for a little imagination to be experienced.

My 2nd grade daughter LOVES this set! She is reading Little House in the Big Woods this year for school and this is absolutely perfect to go along with it. Very happy we bought it.

I love this kit. I actually bought it for my 8 year old. I am a huge Laura Ingalls fan and so to me, this was just the perfect item to buy! My kids and I had fun cutting out the dolls and dresses. (You cannot punch these out, so it takes time). It's printed on nice, smooth paper. And the colors are delightful. We love to act out scenes. The kit provides an indoor set and an outdoor set. Really great buy!

First time purchase for the classroom center...big hit! I will purchase this in the future. I would recommend this book.

We recently purchased this set for a family friend on her sixth birthday - she LOVES Little House on the Prairie, so this was a perfect fit.

My daughters also have this set of paper dolls. My only complaint would be that the clothes need to be CUT out (the dolls punch out) - makes for a bit more work for Mom!

This is a great little set with scenic backdrop, descriptions of the characters with a glimpse of what life back then may have been like for the Ingall's. The stands are great for the dolls, but became a little flimsy with use. This was easily remedied when we traced the worn stand onto white poster board and cut two little nitches into them. Good as new!! My six yr. old is thoroughly enjoying these!
