I buy this calendar every year. I love to read and find their reviews believable, not hyped up. It turns me toward a variety of book, from classics to fantasy, and while I have my favorite genres, I do enjoy a GOOD change once in awhile

Great daily source of books to read. Has enough information to help make a decision about whether to read or not. I give it to my daughter every year and she'd be lost without it.

the calendar pages reached June 30 then returned to January 1. In other words 2 first six month segments no last six months of the year. Then I have to spend time and money repackageing and returning for a minimal refund. And i'll bet they just throw it in a bin and resell it to some other unsuspecting customer. Buyer beware!!

Anything with Book & Lover in it's title will get my attention. What I love most about this calendar I am introduced to new books/authors. I know I will never get to read every book in the world (in this lifetime), but with this calendar I am introduced to more books/authors to add to my never-ending to be read book list.

We bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present. Now we hear book quotes daily from her. She loves it.

I usually buy this calendar each year. I enjoy the variety of books it recommends and I particularly like getting the email version so I can forward recommendations to friends. For some reason neither the online or email version of this calendar is available this year. Instead you may choose to get a completely different calendar online. This is totally unsatisfactory. I would prefer just to get the email version and dispense with the print version. A very disappointing development. I'm not sure I will buy it next year if I can't get the email version as well.

The heading pretty much says it all. My husband is a book nut; he keeps this on his desk at home, and reads the day's page every day. According to him,it is "just enough" literary info without being overwhelming. I think he saves ~ 10-15 pages per year to add to his already-long reading list. I think 2014 is the fifth or sixth year since I starting getting these for him; it's a bit of daily joy for a book lover.

This calendar appears to be a list of books a publisher has paid to promote in this calendar. Of the books with a synopsis on the calendar I've found interesting, most get awful reviews on Goodreads. And while that's not always a definitive way to decide to read a book or not, it's scared me off from most of them. Skip this...just find your books elsewhere.
