Carolyn Reynolds has 20 years experience as a professional astrologer and counselor and is the author of The Book of Lovers. She has written Sun Sign columns and established a successful telephone astrology service.
Early in her career, Carolyn began noticing correlations between her clients' moon signs and their personal relationships, and she began to focus on the phenomenon in her counseling.
From this data she wrote The Book of Lovers, a fun and intelligent astrological guide to romance. Although she does not specialize strictly in relationship counseling, she finds that it is the area in which the majority of her clients request help. Excellent personality profiles using only the Sun and Moon!,

When I first thumbed through this book, I didn't know much about astrology. This is the first book which got me seriously interested in astrology. Most of the profiles are accurate and you don't have to know anything about astrology for it to work for you. A note to beginners: because this book only takes into consideration the sun and moon signs, it does not give a 100% accurate description of whether or not two given people are "compatible". One must take into consideration both person's rising signs (ascendant) and venus and mars. For a true compatibility reading, you still need to go to a professional astrologer with the exact dates and times of birth.

Even if you don't know anything about astrology, you'll find The Book of Lovers both entertaining and easy-fo-follow. Reynolds is the perfect "follow-up" astrologer/author to the late, great Linda Goodman! If you want to look up you and your partner's signs, you can do that quickly. If you want to learn more about astrology in general, you can do that, too!
