I've always been interested in technology and remember my first computer. It had a 40 megabyte--yes, you read that correctly, 40 megabyte--hard drive which we didn't think we would ever fill up. When I first got started marketing online, it was back in the DOS days when you had to "disk park" to get your computer to turn off.

I went from there to teaching myself how to build websites, program databases, and eventually build and design WordPress blogs. I built an international business where I connected and built relationships with people from around the globe. Back in those days I taught myself how to do all of this, as I was not aware of any courses being taught on these subjects.

Since my 1994 I have spent thousands of hours in the study and application of Internet marketing. I have learned from some of the most successful online educators in the world: Bob Jenkins, Kathleen Gage, Connie Ragen Green, Lynne Klippel, Stu McLaren, and Tracy Childers - to name a few.

As an author and online book marketing expert, I work closely with nonfiction authors, publishers and fellow book marketing experts. I publish a Monthly Book Marketing Gazette and a weekly Book Marketing Ezine. I am also the founder and host of the Book Marketing Conference Online series of event.

Talk about serendipity! Months of studying the current landscape for book marketing told me I needing "Book Marketing Made Easy" before D'vorah wrote it. Now here it is! D'vorah suggests its readers use a highlighter to keep track of tips or strategies that especially "speak" to the reader. Big problem. What's an author to do when every page shouts out solid advice or insightful tips? (My copy looks likes I dipped it in yellow ink:<) This book is like having a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is book-marketing expert perched on my desk, embedded in a hundred and forty pages. Its detailed templates for publishing success reveal exactly what I need to do to self-market "Quantum Fires" effectively both before and after its release. Thank you, D'vorah Lansky!

D'vorah's book, "Book Marketing Made Easy" is a "tell all." Not the kind of "tell all" that exposes the deep dark secrets of someone's life but an exposing of the multitude of ways available to any Author or book publisher to market their books and any number of "other" products they wish to create, which by the way , D'vorah even defines what those other products can be. No stone is left unturned; the book is packed with information that is almost overwhelming were it not for the way D'vorah breaks it into nice manageable chunks.

Each chapter in its own right is, as she presents the label, VIBRANT. Full of useful information and resources to make each topic a "Marketing Machine" all by itself but presented in a structured and easy to follow manor. D'vorah's teaching background comes through on every page. If you're just beginning start with Chapter 1 and work through each to create a comprehensive marketing campaign. If you're a novice pick a chapter and go to work. Follow the guidelines on any page and you're sure to become a marketing star.

In D'vorah Lansky's introduction to "Book Marketing Made Easy," an extremely practical guide to online book promotion strategies, she reminds us that, "Your book is a gift that you give to the world." Writing a book is only half of an author's job, the other half is getting that book into the hands of readers so that it can fulfill its particular mission to inform, inspire, enlighten, or entertain.

"Book Marketing Made Easy" touches on all the primary ways you can connect with readers online: blogging, social networking, teleseminars, information products, article marketing, and online video. If simply reading this list makes you feel overwhelmed, don't worry. You only have to do one thing at a time, and D'vorah's made that super easy for you. Each chapter contains a list of specific actions you can take, and all you have to do is choose the ones that seem the easiest or sound like the most fun, and your book marketing will soon be rocking and rolling online.
