An exploration of the abundance of nature. Information on tools, material and supplies needed to make a good presentation of pressed floral design with step-by-step instructions on creating different designs to make floral collages and tips for use of collage materials. Included are photographs of the flowers she picks and the final pressed flower effect, as well as desirable wild and garden flowers to press, including moss, lichen and bark. Overall, a wonderfully illustrated, very instructive and inspirational book. 120 pages hardcover

This book is outstanding in it's content. It covers so many aspects of how to dry flowers as well as what one can do with them once dried. The photography is fantastic and supplies needed are also carefully labeled and photo'd.
Shows you how to use everything from dried wildflowers to ferns to mosses, seeds, bark, leaves, to vegetable garden plants. Covers creating beautiful greeting cards, making poster or pictures or a decorative flower diary or flower arrangement, along with decorating wooden furniture with pressed flowers.

This wonderful book also teaches about colors and how to use them for the best effect and also the use of texture. This is not one of those bargain basement type of everyday books quickly thrown together...my impression is that Penny Black loves what she does and wants to share it with others and took time and effort to make this book special.
