The school claimed our child did not return the book - so instead of paying a huge amount for them to replace it - I took care of it myself. Apparently this book gets checked out all the time - so they wanted to replace it asap. The "Big book of..." series is a great series - although this book is more for kids who can read. While the pictures are nice, it's not a book that my younger kids enjoy looking at. I suggest it for 2nd-3rd graders. We got the book back on the shelf - the librarian was happy - and now the kids can check out the book!
