I have been involved in a study of the Book of Romans in the past, but it was a very surface study. This study has so many examples that are relevant to today, and it makes one want to keep involved and finish each lesson. Our whole study group has been very impressed with this book, and we will most likely use more of the "Following God Through the Bible" studies in the future.

I underestimated the depths of the Bible...again. This Bible study helped me see things about Joseph I had never even come close to discovering before. I was impressed.

It is so refreshing to open up a new Bible study and have it come alive! I am so happy to have this study. Mary did a wonderful work in giving us readers a chance to really study who Joseph was and how God worked through his life, even when he was in the depths of prison. I am very thankful to have had this Bible study!

Mary Englund Murphy has done a masterful job of gleaning treasures from Joseph's life that should impact every reader in a very positive and uplifting way. This wonderful study is very practical and insightful in bringing truths to light from the story of Joseph that most would miss. Mary displays a great knack for making deep truths simple and so applicable to everyday life-especially for those who experience hurtful and sometimes bewildering circumstances. I believe God will use this book greatly in comforting, encouraging and stabilizing many a reader.

I was amazed at the scope of the practical applications of this book, so much so that even the most Bible-immersed Sunday School class was enthralled and changed by this study. It takes you far beyond the historicity, culture, and climate of the Joseph story and his forebears, but brings the account right into your own home and family. Highly recommended for the seasoned as well as the novice.

This study has changed my perspective on living a life of grace, forgiveness and integrity - it really does go "beyond the coat of many colors". You will rejoice and know that God is in control and He has a plan for you. He can take a tragedy and turn it into a triumph - Joseph is a perfect example. Joseph's story is more than a children's Bible story. It is an example of life - a life of struggle, uncertainty, favor and power wrapped in faithfulness.

This book brought Joseph alive to me in ways I never before imagined. His story is a true character builder. Encouragement, trust, diligence, endurance, discipline, acceptance, forgiveness, unconditional love, purity and integrity are all character qualities of our Heavenly Father and Joseph exemplifies these qualities. Whatever your station in life, Joseph's story will encourage you on your journey.

When you finish this study you will have a closer relationship with the Lord and a better and deeper understanding of Joseph! This study does take you beyond the coat of many colors! Mary writes with such style and clarity that blows your thought process. I learned things I never thought of before. WOW is all I could say as I was going through the study!
