Traditional patterns, and some new ideas, all making use of scraps you can't bear to part with, or fabric lengths you forgot about. I love that most projects show several color-ways to spark creative possibilities. And I very much love that the instructions offer both traditional methods and modern "speed" methods. If you're a scrappy quilt fan, this is an absolute must-have!

I am always looking for a way to use up pieces of material left over from other projects. This book shows me many ways of working up my leftovers. I prefer to call them leftovers instead of scraps. Scraps are something that you usually throw away while leftovers you put away for another meal. There are many patterns for everyone. Some simple and some more complex. It is a book that I can look at many times and hopefully use up some of my leftover stash.

There are so many beautiful scrap quilts in this book, all with the patterns and instructions, and two pictures of most of the quilts - flat and on the bed, which makes them easier to imagine real. They are all block quilts, wall and bed size, some more modern, some classics, some applique.
