Erudite literary satire at its truly funniest.,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Book of Sequels (Paperback)
The world of literature and the humanities never caused so much laughter. The authors of The Book of Sequels have provided a hysterical light to the spheres of their academic targets: the classics are thrown head-first into the barbarism of American pop culture. From the Pearl Poet to Franz Kafka, the works of the great masters are funnier than ever. A must for Frasier fans or lit scholars.

At Last...,
By Gandalf "a reader" (U.S.A) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Book of Sequels (Paperback)
At last - in one lavishly illustrated volume: remakes, updates, and spin offs of the world's best loved masterpieces. Presented in a giant 8x11 inch format those who claim literacy owe themselves a read. Anything but boring, this book borders on the strange and surreal at times, a wonderful work of satiric parody. I've herein discovered such wonders as the Satanic Reverses; 2000: A Space Iliad; and Judaism and the Art of Motorcycle Maitenance, the Fabulous Journey of a Man With No Sense of Direction. Sound funny? It Is! A genuine LOL gem, often misunderstood, and almost undiscovered. Here's hoping you make the discovery yourself gentle reader; you won't be sorry!
