5.0 out of 5 stars The Holiness of the Testaments and spirituality, May 6, 2005
This review is from: The Book That Bino Wrote: And...the Bibles That They Wrote (Paperback)
If there is holiness in the Testaments, it seems that Bino did a good job to minimise it. He treats the Testaments as being stories written by humans, who lacked spirituality. The book was well researched and it is an aswer for those who seek true spiritual wisdom. In particular, I found the explanations of the Christian dogmas, in his spiritual way, fascinating, to say the least. A book with a fresh aproach, which I recommend to anyone, irrespective of their religion.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Passion of the Christ? What passion?!, May 5, 2005
This review is from: The Book That Bino Wrote: And...the Bibles That They Wrote (Paperback)
The book starts in slow motion, perhaps with some repetitions, but there is passion in what Bino wrote, in his spiritual values, in the "do to others as you would like others to do to you". The pace is picked-up in chapter two, where he gives his own interpretation of the Book of Genesis. In chapter three he bombards you with facts, which will make you doubt all that has been said about Jesus. I think that Mel Gibson could have thought twice about producing his motion picture "the Passion of the Christ" had he read Bino's book before producing it: Bino uses the bible to prove that there are no prophecies about Jesus, and he uses the New Testament and Christian history to show that the stories are un-syncretic and probably forgeries all round. What I found most interesting is his way of explaining reincarnation, and darkness and light. A book that all Christians and non Christians should read. I also loved his views on Nelson Mandela. I see Bino as a prophet of spiritual enlightenment!

4.0 out of 5 stars Christianity and Dogmas, February 25, 2005
This review is from: The Book That Bino Wrote: And...the Bibles That They Wrote (Paperback)
Bino is nothing short of being a lunatic! I see him as the Salman Rushdie of the Christian faith! His God-concept is beautifully explained and his idea of spirituality touched my being. But, clearly he does not believe in the Gospels and for him prophecies about Jesus have a new meaning, `the New Testament, Old Testament credibility syndrome' The book is full of biblical quotes, and historical facts which I could not verify. I am a Christian and, as a Christian, I do not like what Bino wrote. He answered questions I never asked, about my Faith and about the Gospels.
