Much better than the first,
By Karl G "Jerry" (Singapore) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Book of Three, Volume 2 (Charmed (Simon Spotlight)) (Paperback)
I have both books and I found the first book to be a drag. Boring and uninspired, with a lot of unoriginal content.
The second, I'm extremely glad to say, is a much better improvement. The prologue by the late Aaron Spelling is enough to keep you interested till the end of the book. Brad Kern also makes an appearance, and all the newer content in this sequel is much-needed and very much welcome. Besides the episode guide, there's also a who's-who of potions, spells demons and other creatures in the world of magic and witchcraft. As well, though the photos can be found on Google and Yahoo! the rest of the content easily makes up for it. Much better than the first, and definitely worth your money.

A Little Disappointed.,
This review is from: The Book of Three, Volume 2 (Charmed (Simon Spotlight)) (Paperback)
Let me first say that I love Charmed, but, this book doesnt hold up to my expectations. (This Review may contain spoilers from the series)
Ok, the first volume of the book was extremely incredible in many parts. The Introduction was very interesting, I also loved the spell book. So why don't I like this volume as much? It was announced in April and I'm sure it wasn't rushed, but it seemed like it was. The spell section is different now, it's actually hard to find the spell you want. The sections have changed. Charmed one spells> Gram's Little Black Book> No Charmed Cast Spells. The demonolgy is lacking too. I can forgive that, but the thing I cant forgive are the errors in the book.In the spell section, towards the end, it captions the the sister's final words in the book of shadows (Forever Charmed) and When it comes to Paige's turn it contains some speech that is altered... While still helping me with the twins and JUNIOR! not little Henry, but Junior! A nice addition to the book is the interviews after each episode summary. They include Cast, and Crew, such as writers and prop managers. So all, in all not a bad buy. 4.5/5

The Charmed Bible,

This review is from: The Book of Three, Volume 2 (Charmed (Simon Spotlight)) (Paperback)
This book is a fabulous reference guide to the last half of the Charmed series! I had the first one, and when this one came out, I HAD to have it! I didn't watch the last few years' worth of episodes over and over as I did the first five. This book was incredibly useful in answering the things I forgot about! If you are a Charmed fan, this book is a MUST!
