4.0 out of 5 stars Much better than the first
I have both books and I found the first book to be a drag. Boring and uninspired, with a lot of unoriginal content.

The second, I'm extremely glad to say, is a much better improvement. The prologue by the late Aaron Spelling is enough to keep you interested till the end of the book. Brad Kern also makes an appearance, and all the newer content in this sequel is...

2.0 out of 5 stars I should have researched it first
I ended up buying this on impulse. I was in a bookshop, looking for Charmed novelisations (grrrrrrrrrrr, they don't seem to exist apart from online), and stumbled across this in the entertainment section.

Having paid full price for it (yikes), I was very disappointed to read halfway through it on the bus home, and finish it within an hour of getting home. Yes,...

I have both books and I found the first book to be a drag. Boring and uninspired, with a lot of unoriginal content.

The second, I'm extremely glad to say, is a much better improvement. The prologue by the late Aaron Spelling is enough to keep you interested till the end of the book. Brad Kern also makes an appearance, and all the newer content in this sequel is much-needed and very much welcome.

Besides the episode guide, there's also a who's-who of potions, spells demons and other creatures in the world of magic and witchcraft. As well, though the photos can be found on Google and Yahoo! the rest of the content easily makes up for it.

Much better than the first, and definitely worth your money.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Little Disappointed., January 8, 2007
Let me first say that I love Charmed, but, this book doesnt hold up to my expectations. (This Review may contain spoilers from the series)

Ok, the first volume of the book was extremely incredible in many parts. The Introduction was very interesting, I also loved the spell book.

So why don't I like this volume as much?

It was announced in April and I'm sure it wasn't rushed, but it seemed like it was. The spell section is different now, it's actually hard to find the spell you want. The sections have changed. Charmed one spells> Gram's Little Black Book> No Charmed Cast Spells. The demonolgy is lacking too.

I can forgive that, but the thing I cant forgive are the errors in the book.In the spell section, towards the end, it captions the the sister's final words in the book of shadows (Forever Charmed) and When it comes to Paige's turn it contains some speech that is altered... While still helping me with the twins and JUNIOR! not little Henry, but Junior!

A nice addition to the book is the interviews after each episode summary. They include Cast, and Crew, such as writers and prop managers.

So all, in all not a bad buy.

4.5/5

This book is a fabulous reference guide to the last half of the Charmed series! I had the first one, and when this one came out, I HAD to have it! I didn't watch the last few years' worth of episodes over and over as I did the first five. This book was incredibly useful in answering the things I forgot about! If you are a Charmed fan, this book is a MUST!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Love It!, January 10, 2007
If you are a fan of Charmed you must get this book. I have the first one and as soon as I heard Vol. 2 was coming out I had to get it. It's packed with so much stuff, like episode summaries, cast interviews, spells used on the show, list of all the good and bad guys on the show and so much more. It is definitely a must have for every Charmed fan. This book focuses on the last three seasons so to have the complete set you have o get Vol. 1 also. It's a great set to own. I definitely recommend this.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Power of Three in a nutshell, August 4, 2008
This review is from: The Book of Three, Volume 2 (Charmed) (Paperback)
Everything you ever wanted to know about Charmed. This book contains information on all the demons the sisters have faced, spells they have cast, the Halliwell family, cast and crew interviews, episode bios and full colour photos. The last three seasons of Charmed are contained within these pages, and is a great buy for any Charmed fan. The only problem I had with it was the sisters' final entries within the Book of Shadows. Whilst the entries as they are in this book contain the sentiments of the sister's entries on the show, they are not entirely word for word what is contained within the Book of Shadows, but this only annoyed me for I am pedantic when it comes to Charmed.
