About the Author

Dennis V. Damp writes from first-hand experience. He spent 35½ years working for Uncle Sam and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2004. His career included numerous management positions where he was responsible for recruiting, rating, interviewing, assessing, and hiring applicants.

Damp provides an insider's perspective on what it takes to go from job hunter to hired, and everything in between to improve your chances of landing a high-paying government job. He has authored 17 books including "The Book of U.S. Government Jobs," "Post Office Jobs," "Health Care Job Explosion," "Take Charge of Your Federal Career," and "Dollars & Sense."
