This book of poetry immediately became one of my favorites. Mosby's verse is both spiritual and contemplative. Each poem invites introspection and contemplation of the many facets of our lives. Her verse is smooth and simple while evoking beautifully crafted metaphors. Each poem is an eloquent prayer from the soul.I strongly recommend this book for any poetry enthusiast. I chanced on this book years ago while I was living in Chicago. I'm no stranger to poetry, but it's not exactly a major, or even minor, pursuit in my life. But these poems captured me in a way no other poetry has ever done. In her brevity (each poem is only a few lines of free verse) she manages to capture a perfect blend of hope and melancholy, and convey such imagery as still brings tears to my eyes, a decade later. I have purchased this book for friends, and have gone through several copies, myself. I love this book.
