I really did not know what this book was about when I bought it. It is a very long book and I had a very difficult time putting it down. I could not wait to find out what was going to happen next and when I finally got to the end of the book, I was disappointed. I was dissappointed that the book had ended - I did NOT want the book to end!!!!

This book is extremely well written. The author did an excellent job of conveying the underlying message that runs through out the entire book. That message is that growth and human potential are not only possible but inevitable and unlimited.

When I did make it to the end of the book, I read that there would be another installment(?) of this book. I went onto Amazon to find it and was disappointed to not be able to find it. Hopefully, the author is currently working on it and it will be out soon. I would definately buy it and I have absolutely no qualms in recommending this book.

I do have one question. The Book that is the theme behind this book, is it real or was it just something the author made up?

On first reading of "The Book", I found myself hurrying to pick it up at every opportunity. It is a great read that keeps you turning the page for hours. Several reviewers have given a sort description of the action, so i won't repeat that, but I would like to add that as I was reading the book, I found myself having a strange sensation that something deeper was going on. Something below the surface that hinted at a larger truth that was manifesting throughout the action that the characters were oblivious to at first, but gradually gained more and more awareness of as the story moved forward. I enjoyed the story immensely, but I have to say that when I re-read the book (which I have seldom done), I found that the truths uncovered in this story became very compelling and in fact called out to this reader to experiment himself, which I have to say I have done with, frankly, remarkable results. I highly recommend reading this book for the great story, but much more importantly read it, apply the techniques as Dan did, and change your life!

This is how the author describes his book, but it is actually much more than this. For lovers of fantasy fiction, it is a mystery thriller in the tradition of Da Vinci Code. For those seeking personal growth, it is a story of highest individual accomplishment in the tradition of the Count of Monte Cristo who rises from anonymity to international fame. For aspirants to secret knowledge, it is a revealing book of highest psychological knowledge, life wisdom and spiritual insight. For business leaders and managers, a practical guide to the secrets of sustained success in business.

In simple words, the story is about four young entrepreneurs who discover profound truths about life and themselves in a dizzying rush to the top of the world. Life with all its intricately woven complexity carries them forward and in the process teaches them to shed their personal limitations, stand up for high principles, and discover their own unique individuality. The author takes the reader on a joyful journey filled with action, adventure, even conspiracy and romance. For those in search of higher knowledge, his writing provides fascinating insights into the character of Life. The thread of romance that evolves in the story stirs the heart to a deeper yearning. A clear, pure joy trickles, then overflows and ultimately surges from the pages, one after another. In sum, I love 'The Book'. Read it if you want to be born again, this time to accomplish infinitely; if you want to fall in Love again, this time to discover Romance at its heights; or simply if you want to know what a divine marvel Life really is.

The title, "The Book", refers to a mysterious tome that is discovered by a budding company in the artificial intelligence field. This rare book becomes the "Holy Grail" of artificial intelligence and an object immense value to both governments and corporations as the company goes from startup to a major corporation in a time period that would make Google envious. It develops similarly to a Dan Brown novel with a significant twist. Unlike Brown, whose books never reveal any actual knowledge, this book rewards the reader with knowledge and insight about the process of human and corporate development as the mystery of the Book unfolds. The principal insights woven into the book's plot are the lessons of accomplishment - how to achieve it and sustain it in a manner that is universally beneficial. Though I enjoyed the story immensely, this "bonus" was an exciting surprise.

Hardly a manual on how to succeed in business, the meaning of The Book's texts gradually show the contemplative reader a path through. Knowledge of The Book's role in the development of the AI software gets out and Dan finds his life on the line as powerful enemies try to find and steal The Book and the secrets they are certain it contains.

The subtitle reads: "This is not The Book. It is only a book about The Book." In a similar vein Garry Jacobs' book is not a story of corporate success and intrigue at all. It's presents a sweeping marco vision of world history that points at profound answers to questions that have haunted humanity since the beginning: Who am I? Why am I here? What is my destiny? Read it as a sprawling high-tech adventure story or a text that examines the often hidden forces that are there to be discovered and that move the universe toward a remarkably benevolent future. This vast volume has the power to change the way you experience the world.
