I just finished going through this book. It is an amazing source of quality literature for older children and for adults. This will keep you busy for a lifetime. Many classics, many quality novels, non-fiction all arranged by subject with concise summaries and age recommendations. The content comes from the perspective of Waldorff Highschools and the depth and quality of the entries are obvious.

I find this book an invaluable resource for finding book suggestions not only for my children, but also for myself. I frequently refer to Books for the Journey when looking for ideas for my book club. It is also a great help when my children need to find a book for a book report. I highly recommend this book!
