Perfect introduction to beginning words.,

We read this book to our 2.5 year old and within the first day, she was able to read (by sounding out) many of the words. By the end of the week, she was reading the book with very little prompting. {Note, she has been learning letter sounds recently, which allowed for her to be ready for this book.} This book is nice because it offers repetition and picture clues to assist beginning readers. The illustrations are colorful and fun. Beginning readers are able to feel some success when reading this book, which encourages children to want to read more.
