The list author says: "Books for boys (Grade 3-6) are difficult to find - so I thought I would start a list. We have found so many books that were Harry Potter style but the writing was terrible. Great covers on those books but not worth reading. I will continue to add books as the school years rolls along."
"A great book when you are traveling, builts creativity, great travel memory and over all it's fun! He spent HOURS on this book. The whole series is great - a sure hit for even those boys who don't like reading."
"My 10 year old son (Grade 5) read this book and here is HIS review. At the beginning the main character was whining that in the future he would own the family funeral home. This book was a mystery novel about a possible murder. My son said felt that the mystery part of the novel was better but it took awhile to get interesting."
"This series is a great chapter book - lots of adventure -- I found when my son was younger I would read some and then he would read some -- by the end of the year (Grade 3/4) it was more him than me."
"He liked this book - and a few of his classmates Girls and Boys also read this book. He like the adventures and really did seem to get into the story. Now everytime he sees Julie Andrews he comments "she wrote that book I read.""
