The list author says: "There are so many books out there that are marketed towards helping you (the reader) become more "green". What does that mean? Well, presumably they want to inspire you on becoming more eco-conscious and doing small things that help the environment.
The problem is that many of the books out there say the same thing, aren't very helpful and chock-full of celebrity endorsements that soon the reader loses interest, or worse yet, learns nothing. Many of those books aren't worth the trees they are made out of.
I have read many "environmental" books for the lay-person, and here are the ones I keep coming back to, or referring to my friends and family. Many aren't geared towards environmentalism, but home-economics and health. I hope you enjoy."
