The chair is very comfortable, easily assembled, (even for a technically-impaired person like myself), and offers reasonable sound quality for the price. The only thing you need to know before buying is that it isn't wireless and requires brief plug/unplug tasks before moving it to and from its operational location. Also, if you use it in a room that has other uses (and, therefore must move it when company comes calling), it's a bit bulky and requires some forethought before passing through door frames.
All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would do so again, knowing then what I know now.

Love it, but constant hum from subwoofer,

I did several days of research before going with the Sky Lounger for my small video game nook. My biggest concern was that I am 6'2" and 190lbs. So many of these video game chairs have pictures of children and teens in them. Not many seemed directed at adult gamers (the ones who can afford these chairs!). I had even tried the cheaper video rockers at a local store and felt foolish 2-inches off the ground. I could barely get out of it to stand. After visiting the BoomChair web site, I was convinced this was the adult chair for me.The manual was easy enough to follow and soon I had it built and powered on. I fit the chair nicely. The head rest is adjustable, so I was able to lift it as high as I required. It is a very solid chair with a soft plastic exterior that should be easy enough to clean. Having the two speakers at head level is brilliant and I can adjust the volume to hear everything clearly, without filling the room with sound (not loved by my wife). I am able to have the video via HDMI to the LCD, but pull off the audio RCA connection to the chair. OK, so my one Con: the powered subwoofer has a constant hum which is present connected to my Xbox 360 or not. I have written to the BoomChair site asking for help with this. No answer yet. In game, the hum is covered by game sounds. I want to give the seat 5 stars, but the hum generated by the powered subwoofer knocks a star off.

I LOVE this chair!!! It's stylish and very comfortable. the speakers are just enough with clear sound. The only thing I don't like about this chair, is that it's not wireless. I don't like the cords I'm trying to think of a way to hide the cords. However, everything else about this chair is FABULOUS.
