About the Author

Paul Briand has had a variety of newspaper jobs during more than 25 years in journalismreporter, editor, new media director, assistant publisher, and operations director. But his favorite job remains writing. It's why he got into the business after graduating in 1975 from the University of New Hampshire. His weekly Boomer Angst column is published in the Salem, Mass., Evening News and, in New Hampshire, the Portsmouth Herald, Exeter News-Letter, Hampton Union and Rockingham News. ...so really, it's proper that he uses the word "I". So if you haven't heard of someone they can't possibly have something valuable to say?

I like the writing. The columns are hit-or-miss, but there are enough hits to make it a good read.

The author focuses on himself way too much. I've never even heard of him, but it's "I this" and "I that". I can't believe this was actually published. What a joke!
