This review is from: The Baby Boomer's Songbook (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Songbook) (Paperback)
A great collection of songs! Everything from Don McLean's American Pie to The Partridge Family's Come On Get Happy! If you are a fan of music from the 60s and 70's, including movies and TV theme songs you'll enjoy this book. The arrangements seem to be good (they sound like the originals you remember and the keys are all very reasonable).
The binding for the book is fairly sturdy -- I often keep it open on my piano and it hasn't split apart yet! It was definitely worth the price for such a big collection (65 songs). The music is what I would consider Pop Songs, especially the ones from the 70s -- the songs you would have heard on Casey Kasem's Top 100 countdowns every week. |
