I'd been thinking about starting a side business to help make up for my sagging 401k. Let me tell you, the thought of starting a business when you hit middle-age is scary. But Orrell's book is a revelation in that it shows you how to find your niche and get your business off the ground. More importantly, it offers ideas on how to use your knowledge and experience to your advantage, which is great because you probably don't want to have to go back to school to find your second career. So check this book out and realize the options you have right now.

This is a great idea book for anyone wanting to start a business at any age. Okay, I guess you have to be old enough to know something. Because the author is a marketing expert there is heavy emphasis on all types of marketing and promotion, including several chapters on various types of social media. Again, good information for anyone who owns or wants to start a small business.

I know Lisa, I've worked with Lisa, and I'm a Boomer, myself. Lisa's book is a real winner!! It is chock full of concrete and actionable tips that anyone can follow. I marked the relevant pages with Post It notes for things that I should be doing now to get my business off the ground, and found that at the end, there were are least 20 to refer to! If you have a business and want to accelerate growth, or are setting up a new business, this book is for you!!
