Boon Frog Pod Deluxe with Bath Toys

I bought the Boon FrogPod with bath toys three months ago and have loved using it for our 10-month-old's bath every single day. I opted for this one instead of the Boon Frog Pod alone because the $10 difference seemed worth it for bath toys, and I don't regret the choice. I really liked the look of the red-and-black Boon Bug Pod, but couldn't find one with bath toys, so a green frog it was! I followed the instructions perfectly for mounting via the adhesive strips: wipe with the included alcohol pad, mount the small rectangle part and waited a full twenty-four hours before attaching the frog part. It's still up and feels pretty secure.

The included bath toys are really fun. I'd thought I'd want less abstract shapes, but the uniqueness of them is actually part of the fun. They stick to our bathtub sides and tile shower walls when wet, and the baby and I play games where I race to stick them to walls as she pulls them down. They're fun to stack on each other and float around the tub. The baby also enjoys chewing on them while teething, which is something I only allow occasionally. (They're listed as non-toxic, but I could probably tear off a chunk with my teeth if I was trying, so I'm not about to leave these around as teething toys, but a little harmless gnawing during cranky hour in the bath can be a sanity-saver.)

The little ledge on top is perfect for holding a small bottle of baby wash (as well as my shampoo & conditioner out of her bathtime reach), and the frog toes hold the baby's washcloths. :-) When her bath is done, I use the scoop to gather up most of the toys and put it back in the holder. Since it's mounted right over the foot of the bathtub, the toys drip-dry easily. I haven't noticed any mildew or mold on them, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to give them a good scrub and a rinse in disinfecting solution, if they ever do.

UPDATE: I must have jinxed myself because it came down a few days after reviewing it. :-) I've ordered some 3M Command Water-Resistant Strips and will be putting it back up again.

UPDATE, 1 year later: Yes! The 3M Command Water-Resistant Strips are still holding firm. :-)

I loved this product but it kept falling...I called Boon directly and they sent out silicone glue and since sticking it up with that is has never budged in over a year with a 4 year old using it every day.
I love it and keeps my bathtub from getting over crowded and messy.

I loooove this Boon Frog Pod but it doesn't stick to marble tiles. I highly recommend if you have a smooth wall, or glass even, I believe that's all it will stick to. Mine did stay up for a little while, and I even bought more adhesive, but ultimately it just wont stay up. Very sad. Good Luck!

I got this thing for my daughter's things because I wanted to save space in the tub. I loved the look and idea but after NUMEROUS times of this thing falling off ( before the pail) was even on it I am ready to throw it out. It has fallen off and hit my daughter in the head and back before. The pail part is useful for the toys and to play with, but I wouldn't spend the money on this.

This is the BEST bath toy holder I've ever come across. My mom bought one, for my son, when I was visiting her. I liked it so much, I bought one for myself! I haven't had any problem with the frog sticking, but I did my best to follow directions. I love the little shelf that holds my son's shampoo and bath wash, and the frog's little fingers hold washcloths and loofahs wonderfully. The toys and bath loofahs are a good value, but I could go either way there. LOVE my Frog Pod, though. LOVE IT!

It's a very cool design. The toys inside are great. However, as other reviewers said, the frog just doesn't stick.

This is adorable, and the perfect size for bath toys. My son loves scooping his toys up in it, and he really likes the simple shape toys that come with it. They stick to the sides of the tub!

This is a good buy. It hangs nicely on the shower wall not taking up too much room. My daughter loves the toys that came with the frog, she loves sticking them all around the tub. i love that i can set all her soaps and shampoos on the top and hang the lofas on the froggy hands, saves on space. I have already recommended this to my friends with small children :)

This is the 3rd one of these I have bought as a gift. So far the other 2 were a hit. Great for bathtime and easy clean up. I can forsee buying more in the future!

This is the neatest thing I've seen for babies! My great-nephew loves to play, and it's so easy to clean!
