5.0 out of 5 stars EXACTLY WHAT MY BABY NEEDED
I have purchased an embarrassing number of teething products for my son. He was a preemie and has had difficulty with motor skills particularly teething has presented a challenge. It seems like he had a really difficult time getting a teether onto the spot he was trying so intently to teeth on and then had even further trouble keeping the teether in the desired place...

2.0 out of 5 stars Expected more from this.
I was hoping this would be better. It is hand wash only which is a pain. I found it impossible to put the teething biscuit in all the way. Since it hardly went in the biscuit broke as soon as my son started gnawing... I tried it once and now it sits unused. Save your money. It's a shame because I usually love boon products. I gave it 2 stars cause it looks cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXACTLY WHAT MY BABY NEEDED, June 21, 2011

This review is from: Boon Gnaw Multi-Purpose Teething Tether, Bue Raspberry/Tangerine (Baby Product)
I have purchased an embarrassing number of teething products for my son. He was a preemie and has had difficulty with motor skills particularly teething has presented a challenge. It seems like he had a really difficult time getting a teether onto the spot he was trying so intently to teeth on and then had even further trouble keeping the teether in the desired place. I have been really pleased with all of the boon products I have purchased for my son. They seem to approach their designs with no regard for what everyone else is or has been doing and so their products are unique as well as eye catching and always seem to be more functional for the given task than others around.

When I initially handed my son the gnaw he was impressed with the way it was able to move and he quickly got to work investigating its various surfaces. His Occupational therapist was also impressed with the gnaw and said it is the perfect size and design to help tune his motor skills so he gains control but designed so that when he loses control of the toy it is usually easy for him to pick it back up and gain control of it again without getting frustrated and upset.

I highly recommend this product to everyone but especially for teething babies struggling with their motor skills development this toy hits a home run!

5.0 out of 5 stars stuff won't drop, August 8, 2011
This review is from: Boon Gnaw Multi-Purpose Teething Tether, Bue Raspberry/Tangerine (Baby Product)
I love this thing. It reminds me of the pacifier clip. However, in this case it is teething biscuits, carrots or apple slices that don't fall to the ground. After having lost 2 Sophies the giraffe, I even fit the two hind legs of Sophie into a "GNAW" and it has stayed with my daughter ever since.

My daughter doesn't like teething toys; she always wants a finger to chew...preferably one of mine. I've found that with this I can stick a carrot stick or apple slice in it and she'll teeth on it because it tastes good, but it's firm enough to feel good on her gums too. Plus, when she's done, I can toss the food and stick this in my dishwasher to disinfect it. When we are out, I can clip it to her and don't have to worry about her dropping it and losing it or getting her food dirty.

However, I did rate this as 4 stars out of 5 only because it doesn't always work. I have to search through my carrot sticks to find one that fits without falling out. The carrot has to be rounded to work. Same goes with spoons and stuff. That part is kinda annoying. Still, it's worth the trouble. I recommend this to others.

1.0 out of 5 stars Is there a no star option?, November 23, 2011

This was a total waste of money - nothing fits in it and it is terrible to clean when you do find something to fit into it. I would definetly NOT recommend putting food in it. For now I have the toothbrush handle in it so we don't lose the tooth brush but that is about all it is good for. The opening is not much bigger than a quarter so look around before you buy it and see if you have anything small enough to slip into it. The clip does not stay clipped either - the slightest tug and it comes off the shirt or bib, pointless because then both items are on the floor needing washing. Wish I had not bothered - total waste of money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really kid friendly, October 19, 2011

While it is a nice idea n I trust the name of Boon, this is Probably the worst item
They have made. First of all it is very difficult to find thugs to fit in it, secondly fOr my 6 month old, he would rather chew on the thin plastic pipe then the mesh, the mesh area is simply to big fOr his mouth, thirdly once the food gets sucked n chewed on from it how do u remove the gunk stuck the end of that mesh, toothbrushes n stuff don't work that good

...baby would always take the straps to his car seat, stroller, my purse to chew on so i thought this would be great. he likes to take the clip part and chew on it. after more than 6 weeks, he still takes an interest in this. i guess we can also put some sort of biscuit into one end.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but babies luv it, August 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It's ok by my judgement but my twins LOVE this. They fight for it. Even though you're supposed to put a biscuit or teether thing in the green netting portion, my twins like to bite on it just as is. It's a little dangerous when they fling it around since it's a bit long because it's reallymeant to be snapped onto something but my twins pull it right off when snapped onto their clothes.
