The Booq Boa Squeeze is certainly a unique looking bag, it's small but yet it can hold a lot inside of it including your laptop up to 15" in size and any accessories for it.

The backpack is very well made of rugged and durable material that's also water repelling. The seams are stitched with heavy thread and the zippers are high quality name brand YKK ones that should last through everyday uses.

The Boq Squeeze is a smaller type bag so keep that in mind, it's not meant to be an overnight bag obviously but it's more than large enough to carry your laptop and stuff for classes in everyday. You could also use it as a carry-on bag while travelling, it's small but yet you can fit a lot in it. The Boa Squeeze is deceptive, it looks much smaller than it really is, you can carry a lot more than you think you could just by looking at it.

The bag is priced at $130, so some might consider that expensive but you're getting a high quality bag that should feasibly last for years so you could think of it as an investment really.

You can't go wrong with a Booq bag as far as I'm concerned, my experience with them has been nothing but great really. I'm actually giving this bag to my 8yr old son for school as a book bag. No he's not going to be carrying a laptop with him, he's going to be carrying his books and supplies which can be heavier, and I'm confident that it will last him all year and beyond as it's just a great quality bag.

Pros:
+Exterior and interior water repelling fabric
+Includes Terralinq lost and found service
+Plenty of room
+Unique design
+Rugged and durable, should easily last for years
+Very well made and designed

Cons:
-Might be considered expensive
-Doesn't stand up by itself
-No headphone pass-through

I received this at no cost in exchange for writing a review. Here are my comments.

1. I travel with my Tenba 638-337 Roadie II Executive Backpack, which holds everything I need from my Macbook to iPad to travel pillow for the plane to a rain coat etc. This backpack is much smaller and holds much less.

2. This is 16 inches deep and 10 inches wide at the top, but has a tapered design so the width at the bottom is only 7 inches. Besides the main compartment there are two side pockets that are not very large. The interior on the back side has a top divider for a Macbook (my 13 inch easily fit), a middle divider for pens etc., and a bottom divider that will hold a tablet. The interior on the cover has a deep zippered pocket and a more shallow open pocket. The outside of the cover has a shallow zippered pocket for quick retrieval of your phone and a second very shallow pocket.

As another review notes, this is more than enough room for a minimalist approach where you're not bringing lots of power packs, power strips, etc.

2. The backpack is made of high quality nylon and has a mesh back that is handy for letting it "breathe" in hot weather. The straps are a bit stiff, but no more than my Tenba straps.

3. Some reviews have complained about having a problem with the zippers, but that has not been an issue for me

4. There is a serial number that you can register so that if you lose the backpack hopefully it will be returned to you.

Bottom line: This is a quality smaller backpack, but expensive compared to other backpacks I own. I don't think you need to spend this much to get a smaller backpack that will protect your Macbook and hold some other stuff.

I am a mobile worker. I work in technical sales. This is perfect for all my technical gear. It won't hold much. You can't use it for an overnight bag, but it fits my laptop, tablet, notebook, pen, book to read, sunglasses, keys, wifi jetpack, cables, backup battery, and headphones.

It does not look like a cheap school backpack, which is what I like about it. It also does not feel heavy like a messenger bag, due to it's snug design when worn properly on both shoulders.

Highly recommended.

I was looking for a backpack which I use to carry stuff to and from work. Booq Boa works for me because it is fairly small and it has a lot of pockets accessible without opening the main compartment.

Booq Boa is a compact backpack with a curved rigid frame. The backpack is 16" top to bottom and 12.5" wide. This curved back (the part that goes against my back) is different from my other backpacks, but I find the curve fits me pretty well and I find it comfortable. The only down side to the shape is that you need to prop it against something when you put it down, it does not stay vertical on its own.

This backpack does not fit a full size laptop, but it is perfect for a 10" tablet. It has a lot of well designed pockets.

ᨔ Its main compartment is 11"
ᨔ Within the main compartment we have a padded pocket which is 14" x 11"
Two pockets which as 7" x 11" (one of them have dividers for pens)
The three pockets are opened, no zipper
ᨔ The flap that closes the main compartment has a zipped pocket which is 9" x 11.5"
and an open compartment 6" x 8"
ᨔ Both sides have a nice long zipped pocket, big enough to fit a bottle of water or sunglasses
12.5" x 4.5"
Each one has an open picket inside. And of them has a key chain.
ᨔ There is a small pocket right under the handle

I like backpacks with a lot of pockets to keep me organized and I like that I can reach many pockets without opening the main compartment.

The back and shoulders are well padded. The backpack feels well balanced and comfortable. I like it!

This backpack provided by Booq.
