I looked EVERYWHERE for some sort of options in a 5 X 8 index card box. There are 3 different ones out there and people seem to hate them all. FRUSTRATED!
However, when this one arrived it was nicer than the one I found at my local Office Max. Not by leaps and bounds, but I was expecting that one, so this was a surprise. It is plastic and made of about the same weight of plastic as the 3 X 5 boxes. However, this box is much bigger, which is why it seems a bit flimsy. It should be more sturdy.
Others have said that the top is not really lined up well and I have to agree. There is no easy closing it... you have to fanagle it a bit. But it does latch.
Considering I looked and looked... I was happy with this purchase over any other but I wish they would make more variety both in quality and color!
