I don't roll up my sleeves or wear a green visor, but I do still bookkeeping at home the old-fashioned way in a Boorum and Pease Record book. The feel and look of the old style record book makes me want to do all the entries cleanly and accurately. I title each page for the account and keep a running total for the year, with plenty of room to keep a small note it needed. These books are really well made and sturdy, you can open it to desired page without part of the entry hidden in the center fold and pages are marked on both sides to carry over your columns. Really great buy.
