This is great stuff! I normally use this for small electrical items. Recently our microwave died, and my wife immediately assumed we would need to buy a new one. I opened the keypad panel, and noticed that a set of connecting pins looked tarnished. I pulled the ribbon cable, used the CAIG cleaner on the ends, and plugged it back in. The microwave has been working fine ever since (about two months). This is a re-order, to replace the small tube I bought a couple of years ago. Keep some around the house.

I'll make this quick and to the point: Caig Laboratories makes products to keep your audio/video/digital world free of performance robbing oxidation. Use it, or lose it (your uncompromised connection, that is).

I've treated a variety of battery contacts and other device contacts with DeOxIT, and will see over time how the connections maintain conductivity. It's easy to apply with the brush, although I often use a Q-tip instead to control the amount being applied. So far, so good!

Installed a new HD TV and the signal kept pixilating. If I removed the cable and reinstalled it the problem was solved for a day or two. Went looking for a contact cleaner and found this on Amazon. Tried it and no more pixilating. This saved me from having to rip out the old cable or replace the connector or pay the cable people for an $89 (minimum) service call. Makes me want to have one of the old dial type channel changers just so I can fix it once and forever with this stuff...yeah, you young people don't have any idea...

Anyway, worked perfectly for me. Wow it's nice when something works.

After evaluating this product, I have to give it 4 stars. Its not perfect but VERY close to it. It will easily outperform most over the counter contact cleaners on the market, and I've tried a whole bunch of them. One of the key tests of a good contact cleaner is to use it on LED flashlights and see how long it lasts (the stable beam of light) over several weeks. Well its the only product I've used that has held up so far. Everything else starts to cause a annoying flicker after a couple of days. I cannot give it 5 stars, since it does not fully hold up 100%. Although the LED light still flickers, it is only minimal (can only be seen by discriminating eyes). I have yet to try it TV coax, but I suspect it will work well there too. Would I recommend anyone to buy it ? Absolutely !!! I know I will as soon as my limited stock runs out. I wish the price was less though. Good overall stuff. Warning - do not apply generously on PC RAM modules. Make sure you wipe it off as much as possible. It appears to be electrically conductive. So if you leave it wet on RAM it may short circuit the module - it almost happened to me. After I wiped it off, the RAM module started to work again like new.
