This booster seat is the BEST for transitioning from the traditional high chair. My daughter at 19 months decided she was going to refuse to sit in her high chair for any mealtime. She wanted to sit at the table like her big sister. However, she would not sit still at the table of course. I first bought a plastic booster seat from Wal-mart which had a back to it, and a removable tray. She wouldn't even sit in that either because the straps it came with, wouldn't adjust to be long enough to fit her. So after seeing this same booster seat that my friend had for her son, I realized how soft the base was, and how sturdy it was to the chair. My daughter absolutely LOVES this seat now, and there is plenty of room for her to grow in it. What's funny is that my 7 year old can actually fit in it as well, even though she obviously doesn't need it. I highly recommend this seat to any parent looking for something that will be useful, grow with their child, and did I mention easy to clean? Just wipe with a damp cloth, (I use lysol wipes), and it's like new again! Awesome seat, totally worth every penny!

This seat is very comfortable and cushy. It' stable and attaches very nicely to a chair.
The only downside is that it does not have an adjustable height option which we found useful for our fist child.
Phone books really won't do the trick here.

This is a terrific seat for your toddler who's ready to move on from the highchair. The foam is soft and comfortable, the straps secure, and it's easy to clean. Plus, it's a nice-looking seat!
