5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!
From the moment I had the book handed to me by the author himself I could not put it down. Whether this book describes you to a T (like myself) or you care for someone who would put their life on the line for a great pair of shoes, it makes the perfect gift or addition to any woman's purse. I am a college student who attempts to fit 200 pairs of shoes into a dorm room...

2.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining but overpriced.
This book is all about silly little quotes on shoes with only a few lines on each page. You can finish the whole book in less than 15 minutes. It's not worth the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!, October 2, 2003

From the moment I had the book handed to me by the author himself I could not put it down. Whether this book describes you to a T (like myself) or you care for someone who would put their life on the line for a great pair of shoes, it makes the perfect gift or addition to any woman's purse. I am a college student who attempts to fit 200 pairs of shoes into a dorm room with almost 200 still at home. So not only is this book amusing, but it is comforting for those like me to know that we are not alone. My highest recommendations!

Great stocking stuffer. Fun, fun, fun read. Fabulous graphics and use of color. Clever writing. Terrific concept. We all know bootists and this little book gives them/us a voice. Now I don't have to be embarrassed that I own so many shoes and that the majority are black. It's good to know I'm not alone and I'm like the other girls.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Gift, September 26, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Bootism: A Shoe Religion (Paperback)
It's about time someone recognized the obsession we women have with shoes! This has made the perfect "extra gift" that accompanies my gifts for birthdays and the recent bridal showers I've attended. Looking for a little extra to tie on top of the gift, this is it! Alas, I am only a 35-pair of shoes Bootist due to my small city digs, but I'm a Bootist nonetheless.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm a Bootist!!, September 12, 2003

I laughed out loud when I read this adorable ode to shoe lovers. Since reading the book I have given the "Are you a Bootist?" quiz to all of my friends and family. If you are a shoe shopper extraordinaire, this book is a must. As the proud owner of 200+ pairs of shoes, I think I can say with authority that this book gives a voice to shoe lovers everywhere!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Treat for Your Feet!, September 9, 2003

If your own words cannot express the degree of your affinity for shoes, this is the book for you! Loaded with truisms, witticisms and plenty of shoe fanatacism, "Bootism" is a real treat for your feet! You know you'd love to receive it as a gift, so stock up and send it to all your shoe-loving girlfriends. Fetishists, look elsewhere; this is a pure paeon to swell shoes, not what you're thinking.

What a fun little book! My husband gave it to me for Christmas (he actually put the book in a Jimmy Choo shoe box). I've been showing it to all my friends. Fun, fun. Cool, cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mantra of the shoe lover, November 19, 2003
This review is from: Bootism: A Shoe Religion (Paperback)
Very entertaining book, and definitely represents shoe lovers everywhere (me, included!). The shoe lover knows the importance of shoes, and the author conveys that by incorporating shoes into every facet of life, including career and love life. The book has fun layout and graphics. Aptly represents shoe lovers, and, therefore, a great little present/stocking stuffer for shoe lovers everywhere!
