Gina Petrocelli, computer programmer, struggles to resist the charms of rugged station owner, Parish Dunford. The sparring between the polished city girl and the self-assured man of the outback will remind the reader of Margaret Way's always great, Australian romances.
The seductions are hot, though the misunderstandings that keep forcing the couple apart seem a bit contrived. The descriptions of outback life and scenery enhance the story. I look forward to trying another in "The Australian" series.

PARISH DUNFORD worked hard on his cattle station: he was tough, rugged and definitely all male! And he was determined not to pamper his latest - female - employee...

GINA PETROCELLI was addicted to life's little luxuries - like hot showers! But Parish had limited her to one shower a day, or share with him! Though she and Parish were complete opposites, somehow his boots seemed destined to end up in her bedroom - with Parish in her bed!

The background for this book is totally authentic (I am from the bush too) and it's just the place to find such a sexy man of your dreams! I like the sense of fun that Alison Kelly projected into this book, and her characterisation is great. I rate this high on my list of favourite romance novels. I have read other books by this author and I hope that the next book is on its way to the publisher!

Alison Kelly's Boots in the Bedroom is as captivating as a month spent in the Australian Outback. And just as authentic! Luckily you get to visit with two fascinating people and watch what happens when a city girl meets an outback man. The sparks fly between the two in a rollercoaster read that had me turning the pages at high speed. Its smart, funny, sexy and quite frankly, you don't want to let go of the characters after you've finished the novel - especially the hero, Parish! This would have to be one of the best romances I've ever read!

I truly enjoyed Boots In The Bedroom! The romance was hot and the setting, the Australian outback, fascinating. As well as enjoying a great romance story, I learned some interesting points about Australia. Parish Dunford would appeal to any woman! Like with any really good book, I wished this one would go on and on.

Parish Dunford is the sexiest Aussie around. He'll linger in your memory long after you finish Alison Kelly's BOOTS IN THE BEDROOM. And Gina Petrocelli sure gives Parish a run for his money! I highly recommend this romance novel with its witty, fast-paced dialogue and its utterly luscious sensuality. This is romantic entertainment at its best!
