This book is simply the best I've read on the REAL tools you need to start a business. Look for specific tips on how to handle risk, assembling and managing a team, finding funding (or doing it on your own), and managing the up's and down's that every entrepreneur experiences.

The book should be required reading at every major University business school. You will get more from this than the typical business program can equip you with. If you like work such as The Art of the Start by Kawasaki, then this will be right up your alley.

This book is amazing. As I was reading it I could not believe how simple it was to understand. I have read several entrepreneurial books and this is by far the most down-to-earth, easy to apply book ever. I loved how it gave me advice that I could immediately incorporate into my life and businesses. This book is a must read for any entrepreneur!

Rich and Ron have great advice and definitely the experience to back it up. Could have used a little editing for smoother reading. Sometimes it gets heavy with analogies but lacks real world examples to clarify what exactly they mean. That said, it had some interesting points that I don't think would be found in any other book on business. Worth reading.

I got a copy of this book from Ron after he presented to a group of local entrepreneurs. It is a big book and I let it sit on my shelf for a while but when I finally started reading it I found it hard to put down. Rich and Ron have a lot of stories and examples with a great mix of new business (SEO), small business, funded business, large business (Motorola), etc. The stories, strategies and tactics are well-rounded... while some don't apply to me now it helps me with my vision of where I might be headed.

Very well done... this definitely in the top three business books I'll recommend!

When I started reading this book, I thought it would be just another business book and blah-blah-blah! It was quite the contrary! I have really enjoyed reading this book. It has some very wise advise for people looking at starting up a buisness. Rich uses his life experiences to put his theories to the test and into sense for the readers to have a visual interpretation of his point.

It is a must for anybody even thinking about starting up an entrepreneurship. It gives one a lot to think about and many questions that should be asked before someone begins on that venture. The best way to do anything in life is to get advice from someone who has been there...done that. That's exactly what this book does. Rich has been there and done that and is sharing his priceless knowledge with everyone else!! It is a must read!!

I have heard Rich Christiansen is writing another book. I will be 1st in line to purchase the new one!
