These are a fantastic idea, but utterly fail in the execution. Call me crazy, but I think that something that is expected to catch feces with any frequency should be washable in hot water, and dried in the machine. The instructions on these indicate they are to be washed in cold water on a delicate cycle and air dried. Seriously, who has time to separate baby's laundry into multiple loads for washing and then remember to air dry certain items when your head's scrambled by sleep deprivation? I put these in the dryer, hoping they'd survive, but the backs melted together; I tried to pull them apart gently and it just ripped great holes in the rubber-like backing, so they're no longer waterproof. I just use a cloth diaper instead -- they're absorbent enough to catch most accidents, can go right into the hot water wash to get good and clean after a mess, and are cheap enough that I can buy enough always to have a fresh one to swap in.

These liners are not even close to the quality of the liners that come with the Boppy changing pad cover. They are thin and scratchy, and when you dry them on low as directed, they curl up like a scroll never to be flat again. Shame on Boppy. They're clearly capable of making a better quality product, because the liners that came with my change pad covers had none of these problems. They just chose to cut corners.

Now that my son is seven months, it's time to write this review.

I do consider myself a clean freak and unfortunately, I love the color white! So, I knew it would be a challenge keeping the changing cover bright white. However, when I stumbled upon this product, I was so excited.

Thanks to these, my changing pad covers look brand new. I loved these. Every time there were accidents (there were lots, especially with a boy!), I would hand wash them with soap and water and hang dry them on my towel rack in the bathroom. While that one dries (which took a day), I would use the other ones. After a few months of hand washing them, I started to throw them in the washer, but still hang dry them and it's worked out perfectly. They are still in mint, bright white condition.

I read the reviews before I bought these and decided to never machine dry them and it's worked out amazingly. However, if you want them in their bright white condition, I would recommend hand washing them with soap immediately after your little one has been taken care of.

The idea of the 'waterproof' coverlette is a good idea (i.e. not having to change the entire pad everytime there's an accident), but it doesn't work at all.
First of all, the odds of the accident just occuring on the coverlette and not getting on the pad cover are slim. Secondly, the second you wash the coverlette, it rolls up and stays in a tiny roll. We wound up weighing it down with burp clothes, which ruins the entire point.
Having said this, however, we do love the boppy changing pad cover without the coverlette. It's soft and cleans nicely!

I thought these were a great idea. The problem is that they are stored rolled up in this package and they never really get flat. When you wash them as directed, they roll up in the wash and never get clean or dry properly. Really a pain and in the end I'm going to have to throw them away. Don't bother buying they are a waste of money.

Don't wast your money. These stay rolled up no matter how many times you wash them or try to keep them unrolled. Your better off just buying extra "plush" cover tops and changing those out instead. Waste of money.

Let me start off by saying these things are great. They're wonderful for on top of the changing table when the baby decides to wet between diapers (which any parent can tell you happens all the time). They're really easy to whisk off and drop in the laundry basket and replace with another.

My only real complaint is that they can't go in the dryer - they have to be line dried to preserve the waterproofing, so you really need quite a lot of them. I've found that six of them is a good number - that gives us three to work with and three to have drying at any given time.

This is a product that should be on every baby registry! They are great for those changing table accidents. Instead of taking off the whole changing pad cover you can quickly swap these out and have a new clean one. This is a great product that not enough people know about. One piece of advice - after washing, allow them to air dry - the backs of them will melt a bit in the dryer (but they're still usable)

A friend of mine used these, so I convinced my sister of how awesome they were and she got some to protect her soft changing pad cover, so she wouldn't have to wash it every time it got messy. Wouldn't you know, the first time they were washed, the waterproof part melted in the dryer.

Carter's waterproof bassinet pad is a much better deal. They are 18" x 27" inches and can be cut to size to make two changing pad liners.

When my son was born in July we purchased 2 sets of boppy changing pad covers that came with 1 liner each. They are fantastic. I wanted additional liners so I purchased this 3 pack. It is AWFUL. The liners come rolled up and never ever unroll. The first time I washed them I could not unroll one to dry it properly. I eventually folded them and stuck them between heavy books. It was wonderful until we tried to wash again. They rolled back up and we are back to where we started. The 2 we have that came with the changing pad covers are great and we do not have this problem (they were folded in original packaging) [...].
