I bought the pillow while my baby was still in the hospital thinking this was the best thing ever invented. I told a friend about it and she said it didn't work for her. I thought maybe because she was a bigger person and I'm half her size. When my baby came home I was so excited to use it, but what a disappointment. The pillow was too high, too hard even for my preemie. Unable to nurse I went back to my regular pillow...much better. The only hope for this pillow since I can't return it is to use it for my baby when he starts to sit up. NOT WORTH THE $40.00 DOLLARS!!

I have the original Boppy and received this as a gift-decided to keep it. I really don't like the added fabric part that the original doesn't have(Original Boppy owners-you know what I mean). Every one uses their Boppy differently-I personally like to wrap it around my waist while I nurse and you can't do that with this one. It is very plush though, but not soft enough. It would need a lot of breaking in. This one is not for me-i'm stickin with the original.

I love this boppy. My Mom picked it out for me to use while nursing. It works great because the baby doesn't fall through the middle of the boppy. Its especially nice at night when I'm half asleep. I can start nursing the baby and fall back asleep while she is nursing without worrying about her falling off my lap.

I also use it to hold the baby and have her facing me. Its great to be able to see her face and play with her while supporting her head. Its also really nice for when my friend's kids wanted to hold the baby. It supports her head so I don't have to worry about the way the kids were holding her.

I highly recommend this boppy!

I am very long-waisted, and I had started to have trouble positioning my 3 month old to nurse. Both of us were getting uncomfortable. I had the original Boppy and the Brest Friend - neither were really working for me, and I ended up doing a lot of feedings lying down. I bought the new Boppy nursing pillow, and since it's more plush and has the extra fabric in the middle to keep my son from sliding down, it has really worked for me. I even keep one in the car so that I can use it at friends' houses! I also like that I can use it in the glider more easily than the original. I always felt like the original one was sliding down and he was falling in between. It's all individual if it will work for you, but it is a hit for me and my baby.

I didn't find this very useful for nursing, but it was wonderful for propping my baby after feeding to reduce reflux. It was easy to just easily set him down in it and he thought someone was still holding him by the way it just cuddled and wrapped around him. I always supervise him during naps so that he doesn't slip out, but he takes his best naps in the Boppy.

I received the Boppy Nursing Pillow as a gift, but found it just did not work for me. My son kept rolling toward one side or the other and the pillow kept scooting off my lap. The pockets are a nice feature, however. I exchanged it for the Boppy 5 in 1 gym, which is actually usefull, although I don't use it for nursing, either.

I really loved this pillow. I recieved this at my baby shower. I used it everyday. I didn't give it a five star because it really didn't wash well and it doesn't have a cover to it.It would be great if it had a cover to it.

This is the best product ever... My baby was really chunky since she was born, what it means HEAVY.....While Im feeding my baby I can rest my arms on it....Even works when I need to use my hands in something else (like the phone or something), knowing that my daughters feeding were normally 1 hour or more, and then again 2 hours later!!... Besides it has pockets so you could put the bottle while your burping!!...So, don't listen to the people that says that they didn't like it... Just buy it, and try it yourself!!!

UPDATE ---> Adding to my review, I have to say that my daughter is 25 months old already and I'm waiting for the time that she would forget about this boppy. As you can imagine she doesn't fit on it since long time ago, but she love it so much that everytime she wants to tell us that she wants milk she goes, get the boppy and sits on it!! She can't leave without it!!

I received this pillow as a gift. I had been planning to buy an original Boppy pillow, and I remain somewhat dubious about this newer design. It is difficult to hold comfortably on my lap, as the extra fabric tends to get in the way. I also find the denim fabric dull and unattractive. I still intend to purchase an original Boppy, because I am fairly confident that the original design will work better.

As a Rookie breastfeeding mom, I must say I HATED this boppy. My daughter and I just couldn't get the hang of using it -- she would always slide around, even with the panel in the middle -- and it would just end up frustrating both of us.

I would recommend buying the My Brest Friend pillow instead -- it attaches to your body so there's no chance that they baby can slip through, and allows you to position her correctly the first time.
