I purchased this pillow at the end of December 2010 but did not begin using it on a nightly basis until mid-February 2011. It's now April 2011...and the pillow is already flattening and losing its shape.

That said, it is still useful, and I definitely still get some benefit from using it. The part that goes between the knees is still fluffy enough to provide support and I can wedge the middle bit beneath my belly to get some support there. Unfortunately, the portion for neck/head/shoulder support is just not holding up. The filling is becoming lumpy (no, I haven't washed the pillow yet, so it's not from washer/dryer) and it's just not quite as comfortable as it was initially.

I expect the pillow will last until the end of this pregnancy, but I won't be saving it for the next one...I doubt it will be able to hold up through another. I'll probably look for a different body pillow the next time.

My husband bought me this pillow while pregnant with my first baby to help me sleep at night. It was fantastic! You can use the pillow in so many different positions. I would use it to help support my tummy, other nights I'd wrap it around my back if my back was achy..it turned many sleepless night into heaven.

The point I'd really love to make, which I didn't see in too many reviews is this pillow is awesome AFTER the baby is born. I used this daily for breastfeeding with both of my children. It was incredibly comfortable for both mom and baby and snuggled them in just right. On top of that, both of my babies LOVED to nap on this pillow. The pillow sort of looks like two attached crescent moons (more or less)and if you place them together it makes a big circular pillow (again, more or less). Well we'd place the babies right smack in the middle and they'd fall asleep right away!

This is a MUST HAVE for soon-to-be mommas. I still have my pillow almost 4 years later! My daughter, now 3-1/2, props it up and likes to read on it.

It's simply the best. HIGHLY recommend!

I LOVE this pillow. It offers the support that I need without being overwhelming in bed. I can turn back and forth from side to side with it relatively easily. It also doesn't take up too much space so I don't kick my hunny out of bed while using it. I like the options with it as well. You can fold it in half and prop yourself up to read or watch tv, lay it on one side of me so I can lay more on my back with support or all the way on my side with it between my legs and rest my arm on it. Plus, I know I can use it when the baby comes too to prop him up while relaxing or breastfeeding. It's the perfect "fluffiness" and hasn't deflated like some other reviews stated. I was skeptical when I saw how small it is when its in the packaging but it's been a life saver thus far and I plan on using it as much possible. I HIGHLY recommend!

Very comfortable and can be used in many ways. It has a cover if you want to remove and wash it.

In my 5th month of my pregnancy, I went on a mad search for a maternity body pillow to help me sleep more comfortably on my side since I'm primarily a back sleeper. I tried the Snoozer, the Boppy Prenatal Cuddle Pillow, the Leachco Snoogle Loop and the Boppy Total Body Pillow. I'd have to say that the Leacho Snoogle Loop had the best design in terms of how it cradles your entire body but the pillow itself was very uncomfortable with really tightly sewn seams that cut into any part of your body that touched it. So that went back. The Snoozer was okay but didn't really provide any flexibility if I needed to roll onto my other side and it was too big to move with me in the middle of the night. The Boppy Prenatal cuddle pillow was just too small.
So at the end of all my tests, the Boppy Total Body Pillow came out on top as it was the most comfortable and versatile out of all the pillows I tried. It's definitely much softer than the other pillows and makes you really want to hug it during the night. I sleep with it on my left side, using one end as my head pillow, the other end tucked between my knees and my regular pillow to support my back on my other side. If I switch to my right side, the curve of the pillow still allows me to use the bottom end between my knees. This pillow has also been great during the daytime. I just flip the two ends on top of each other and it's perfect for supporting my back when I sit on the sofa. It's gotten to the point where my husband tries to steal it from me during the day when he watches TV.
I can also see how this will be great once the baby comes as a nursing pillow.

This pillow is super comfy! The only thing that I would change about it is a size difference. If you are a tall gal it isn't the best for wrapping around you, but other than that it is very comfortable :)

I have never written a review of any product before, but I felt the need to come on here and share how happy I am with this pillow! I almost didn't buy it because of people's negative reviews saying that it lost it's shape..mine has not at all. I don't know if maybe they are washing the pillow too much? I only washed the slipcover as it zips right on and off, but never the actual pillow. Anyways, this pillow SAVED MY LIFE. I was 10 weeks pregnant and miserably uncomfortable trying to sleep, my back was aching and my pelvis was sore. I bought this at Target and the first night I used it, I slept 12 hours. I didn't even switch sides in the middle of the night! My boyfriend had to get used to sleeping with it in the bed, it takes up a little more room than normal, but he was so happy I was finally sleeping, he didn't care. Now that I'm 34 weeks, I couldn't imagine sleeping without it. Just to compare, I was on a business trip and forgot it at home, slept one night without it and was in so much pain the next day I could hardly move. I had to buy another one (which I didn't mind doing because now I have one on the couch and one in the bed :).

If you were debating whether or not to buy this, stop and buy it immediately. I promise you won't be disappointed!
