Offers little to no support. Exchanged for a $12 king size pillow.,

At 4 months pregnant, I was looking for a body pillow that would offer some support to keep my pelvic bones and back aligned while I was sleeping on my side. I had been sleeping with a standard pillow between my legs, but I was hoping to find something a bit bigger that could give me the pelvic support I needed now, and the belly support that I would be needing in a month or so. After pulling the Boppy out of the package, I realized that this would not do the trick. It was not firm at all (about the firmness of a medium weight comforter.) The picture makes it look like it offers quite a bit of support, but when I laid my head on it, my head sunk all the way down to the bed, and when I put the lower half between my knees, my knees were completely touching through the pillow. Some reviews mentioned that putting it in the dryer will puff it up, but keep in mind that there is only so much stuffing in the pillow - it might get fluffier, but it won't get any more firm.
I returned mine immediately and bought an extra-firm king size pillow from Target for $12. It's working great for me so far.

At first I loved loved loved this pillow. It was comfty, perfect support.. it was wonderful. In less than a month it lost its shape, the filling inside the pillow became seperated and now my boppy is floppy. It was soooo not worth the $50+ i spent on this. I am extremely disappointed. Do not waste your money on this one.. go get another brand!

Useless, saggy, and expensive,

I don't even know what to say. This pillow is so bad! It's too flat to align hips. Awkward under my head, probably too flat there. There is no stuffing where the pillow lies at my stomach so it is useless to support my belly. Quite honestly, I'm not sure what Boppy is thinking on this one.
I ended up with a snoogle and LOVE it!

I just bought this body pillow at Target the other day. At first, I was hesitant to spend so much money on it, but after having it for a week, I am so impressed with it!
I am in my third pregnancy, all of which have been very uncomfortable. This pillow has made my nights more restful. Nighttime is the worst with pregnancy if you have lower back and bone, muscle or joint pain. (All of which I suffer from during pregnancy). However, with this pillow, I have been able to relax and sleep well at night. In my first two pregnancies I used a regular long body length pillow. THey were just okay - pretty much just did what any other pillow could do. But this Boppy Body pillow is the most comfortable thing I've used!

AMAZING PILLOW!,
This review is from: Boppy Total Body Pillow with Slipcover, Natural (Baby Product)
My husband bought me this pillow when I was three months pregnant and I am now in my ninth month. I am still able to sleep through the night(with the exception of needing to get up to go to the bathroom). I credit this pillow for keeping me so comfortable and supported. I can't get comfortable without it. I actually use my regular pillow for my head and scoot the pillow down to support my chest, belly and legs. It feels so good. Sometimes, I catch my husband using it. I will probably continue to use it after the birth of our baby. I love how it is contoured and gets wider in the areas you would need it unklike many of the others available that are the same width all the way. They seem kind of skimpy to me. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS PILLOW.

Not terrible, but not great,
This review is from: Boppy Total Body Pillow with Slipcover, Natural (Baby Product)
I purchased this product in large part b/c other reviewers said it was smaller than many similar pregnancy body pillows. However, we have a double bed, and it's still hard to position this pillow without stealing a decent portion of my husband's side of the bed.
I am 28 weeks pregnant (just starting my 7th month). I have been trying to use this pillow in the position shown on the labeling, where you use a regular pillow under your head, and the body pillow under your belly and between your knees. The pillow is definitely comfortable in terms of putting half of it between my knees, to eleviate strain (and the restless legs type of symptoms I have gotten through the later part of my pregnancy). Where I have had trouble with using it is the half that can go under my belly and support it. I can't get this half into a comfortable position, even though I have tried it different ways. The part of the pillow that is supposed to be indented is completely flat and has little to no stuffing, so it's not supportive at all in that portion. Both ends with padding are too padded to support my belly. What I need at this stage is a bit of support under my belly and between my knees at once. I am thinking that as I get bigger, the extra stuffing may offer the type of support I need. Bottom line: the pillow is limited in its usefulness. I will definitely get some use out of it, but I would not purchase it again unless I find I am able to make better use out of it as my pregnancy progresses.

The key to a good night's sleep,

I have been using this pillow for the past 5 months now (since my 4th month of pregnancy) and I can't say enough good things about it. Prior to using this pillow, I bought an expensive dual pillow (two pillows connected in the center) from The Company Store and hated it. It took up way too much room in the bed, made me WAY too hot at night, and did nothing to help my back pain. The larget part of the Boppy pillow cradles my stomach and I sleep with the smaller part between my upper legs. I can no longer fall asleep without the pillow and on the few occasions I've had to travel and sleep without it I wake up with terrible back pain. I would highly recommend this pillow to anyone going through pregnancy!
BTW, I disagree with the comments about this pillow being low quality - I've washed the pillow several times and it comes out nice & fluffy. The pillow case also washes nicely - it gets softer with each washing.

I bought this for my wife. She had been having trouble getting comfortable. With the Boppy, she could rest easy. It was worth every penny. It is LARGE. Probably actually longer than my wife, that's alright though. My wife is very short. It works as a pillow, belly support, and between the knees support; everything she needed!

Did the trick for me,
This review is from: Boppy Total Body Pillow with Slipcover, Natural (Baby Product)
I love this pillow and have had a great experience with it. My first pregnancy pillow try was a snoogle, very firm and u-shaped. I had an awful time with it and returned it. I wish I had started with this pillow! I am seven months along and have had it for two months. I am five nine, and it is long enough for me (the snoogle was not). It's definitely not as firm or stuffed as the snoogle, but that ended up being a good thing to me. It's not overly hot, the cover is much higher in quality (not the scratchy, polyester feel the snoogle cover had), and is more manageable. If the snoogle had worked for me, it would have been worth the fact that it was so big it was like another person in the bed. This pillow is works really well, is easy to move with as I roll over (I barely wake up now to roll over), isn't too hot or stuffy, yet provides the support I need.

I read the reviews prior to making a purchase, and I have to say, I'm glad I bought this one despite some negative reviews. I don't think any body pillow can help you sleep on your side if you're used to sleeping on your back. I mostly sleep on my side but found it so uncomfortable to try to sleep on my side now that I am 5 months pregnant- Boppy body pillow definitely made sleeping on my side comfortable and switching from left to right was easy. I am so glad I purchased this Body Pillow.
