I originally bought this item for my one month old's "tummy time". Little did I know how VALUABLE this item would become !! He absolutely adores taking quick naps on it (supervised of course - don't leave a little one alone asleep on it !). He likes to lay on his belly on it and will push his legs up under him which sends his face to the ground, but he LOVES doing it ! He'll get frustrated after awhile, but I think that will subside once he can roll over. Imagine how you would feel to be trapped in one position ! He is 3 1/2 months old and naps and plays on it daily. It is also GREAT to put on the mat of an activity gym - it puts them a little closer to the toys. As a new parent still feeling out my way, I am thankful for this item !!

I got this for my son and he wasn't too fond of it as he's not fond of tummy time already. And I found this to be unnecessary as I already have a boppy pillow as a nursing pillow and that works just the same. In fact, it works a bit better because the small boppy seems to be too small as it closes too tightly on him in the ends. So I returned it as you can use the Boppy nursing pillow to do the same and just use whatever toy you have to entice your little one to be on his tummy.

The Tummy Play Boppy has been a great addition to our nursery. We first purchased it to help our baby (5 months old at the time) achieve more daily time on her tummy. Although she didn't like it at first, she was able to spend 20 minutes per day in it after about a week. This is more success than we had with any other tummy time activity. Also, our baby can use it as an entertainment activity, since we put a tummy time picture show toy in front of it. The baby watches the show, and she also plays with the toys that are attached to the rings of the tummy play boppy. The baby (now 7 months old) still uses it freqently today.

My only complaint kind of echoes what one of the other reviewers said - that it closes too tightly around the baby's middle. However, I found that after a week of me stretching it out / breaking it in, it got looser and didn't hug the baby so much. Then, the baby liked it much better.

Overall, I am very glad I purchased this Tummy Play Boppy!

My baby boy LOVES his Boppy!!!! It helped him to use his arm, back , and neck muscles....It also helped him learn how to sit up. It's great excersise plus he's pushing 8 months and he still loves it!!!! It keeps him busy and he has fun!! The bright colors catch his eye..I love it Thanks!

I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 months old to give her more tummy time as suggested by her doctor. The regular boppy sat up too high for her to lay on her tummy with it. Now at nearly 5 months she loves this boppy. She really likes the toys that are attached and they can easily be changed out using link a doos or other linking toys.

this product is fun, however don't make the mistake of not registering for the full size boppy, too. i can see how my son is starting to grow out of this for tummy play by 3 months, although planning on using for sitting up support, too. the toys sometimes fall off too easily and could get lost.

If your baby hated tummy play as much as mine did, this toy is for you. We couldn't get our 3 month old son to stay on his tummy for more than 2 minutes without screaming. We tried the big Boppy and he kept scooting down because it was too big. I bought this Boppy hoping he would learn to enjoy tummy play on a more soft surface- HE DID!! He loves his boppy and now spends an hour a day on his tummy, half on his Boppy reaching for the toys, the other half on a mat. Every day we see more progress - wish I had bought it sooner. Moms to be - I highly recommend this!! Put it on your registry and get your baby to enjoy tummy play early on.

We got this in an attempt to get our little girl to play on her tummy and gain head control. She perfers her back, but we knew we had to get her to her tummy to play if we ever want her to crawl. So we looked around and found this. We love our Boppy pillows and decided to give it a try. So does ok in it but only for a few minutes. She seems to get bored with the toys and we have to have other things within her reach or she wants out. But it has gotten her to where she will lay on her tummy more and she has gained great head control in just a few weeks nd is already working on scooting!

I got this toy for my 3 month old son about a month ago. He seems to like the toy but can only stay in it for about 10 mins. After that he gets really fussy. As alot of people have said it does fit snugli around his tummy, but he doesn't seem to mind too much. Also my son gets his feet up and will actually push himself over. Sending his head into the floor.

I love this boppy! My daughter was born 5 weeks early and weighted less than 4 pounds. She was so small that she fit perfectly in this boppy like most newborns fit in the regular one. The physical theripist at the hospital gave it great coments for tummy time. I am sure we will enjoy it just as much when we need tummy time till then it is perfect for her. I just removed the toys and it holds her great.
